Not Your Mama’s Ribbon-Cutting Extravaganza - From the Go Duck Girls

Go Duck Marketing and Media just celebrated our official grand opening and ribbon-cutting extravaganza on Thursday, May 11! We held a small ceremony at our office, and kept the festivities going with the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce After-Hours party at Calacino’s Pizzeria! Now I bet you have asked yourself by this point, “I thought you all have been open. Why did you just now celebrate?” And you’re right! Go Duck has been an official advertising agency for over 2 years now in the southern part of West Virginia. We recently moved to our new office in Beckley over the winter, and wanted to wait for the perfect time to celebrate!

Our team had been looking forward to our ribbon-cutting for months, with so much planning and prepping in the meantime! Coordinating with local businesses, the BRCCC, our clients, partners, family, and friends to pull off a full day of fun, live music, and food with a packed office and venue! There are so many people we want to thank who helped make this event possible, including the band members of Taylor Made, Rich and Erin Hampton, the staff of Calacino’s, and the executive staff of the BRCCC.

From Brianna:

This ribbon-cutting extravaganza has been a long time coming and I am so grateful for the

people who have been directly involved in this journey! From the dedicated staff to the amazing clients, I could never have imagined Go Duck Media reaching this point: a full team, an office location, and a roster of exceptional clients. The recent ribbon-cutting ceremony was a celebration, representing our official launch into the community. As a West Virginia business, we are passionate about supporting local enterprises and ensuring their growth while providing top-notch marketing services.

At Go Duck Media, we have a vision that extends beyond running a successful business. We genuinely care about the well-being and prosperity of our local community. By assisting West Virginia businesses in thriving, we believe we can contribute to the overall growth and success of our region. Our commitment lies not only in delivering exceptional marketing solutions but also in fostering meaningful relationships with our clients.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Go Duck Marketing and Media marked a significant milestone in our journey as a marketing agency. I truly can't express how grateful I am for the unwavering support we have received from our exceptional team, clients, and the local community. We want to be a part of shaping the future of marketing in our region! After all, that's why we're "Not

Your Mama's Marketing Company." We want to do something and be a part of something different to help launch West Virginia forward. The ribbon cutting was JUST the beginning for us!

From Lindsey:

Our team had been thinking about and planning Not Your Mama’s Ribbon Cutting Extravaganza since we moved to our new office in October 2022. Luckily for us, that move also helped our business and clientele expand immensely, so the ribbon cutting was always in the back of our minds as something to do later. Then after too much thought, Brianna had the great idea to have the celebration follow behind Go Duck’s official 2nd birthday, marking the end of our era as a start-up (also conveniently in the beautiful month of May).

After waiting for an event of this scale for so long, it’s bittersweet when it finally comes and goes. In hindsight, the day went by far too quickly. Last Thursday was a magical day, that’s the best word I can describe it as. Hearing the praise from familiar and new faces, seeing how far we have come as a business and professionals, and Brianna shining like a star felt like a dream come true. Brianna, her company, and the opportunities that they have presented to me have been nothing short of a blessing and life-saving. I think I can say this for all of our team, it felt like the great culmination of all of our hard work. Brianna, Ashton, Anthony, Rich, and Erin make up the best team I’ve ever been a part of, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Go Duck Media. This is just the beginning, and we hope to do great things for Beckley, West Virginia, and beyond!
